Hon. Munachim Ikechi Alozie is a Nigerian politician and a member of the 10th House of Representatives, representing the Obingwa/Osisioma/Ugwunagbo Federal Constituency of Abia State.He is currently a member of the Labour Party (LP).
Early Life and Education
Birth: Born on April 14, 1961, in Umuchima Akanu Ngwa, located in the Ugwunagbo Local Government Area (LGA) of Abia State.
Primary/Secondary Education: He attended Akanu Ngwa Primary School and Secondary Technical School, Obegu.
Higher Education: He studied at the College of Agriculture (now known as Imo State Polytechnic) in Umuagwo.

Alozie has a long history of service at the local, state, and federal levels of Nigerian governance:
Local Governance:
Executive Chairman: Served as the Executive Chairman of Ugwunagbo LGA from 1997 to 1998.
Transition Chairman: Served as the Transition Committee Chairman for the same LGA from 2011 to 2012.
ALGON Leadership: Served as the Deputy National Chairman of the Association of Local Governments of Nigeria (ALGON) from 1997 to 1998.
State Legislative Service:
Represented the Ugwunagbo State Constituency in the Abia State House of Assembly for two terms between 2015 and 2023.
Held the high-ranking position of Majority Chief Whip in the House.
Party Realignment:
He previously held roles within the People’s Democratic Party (PDP), including Abia South Deputy Chairman and State Financial Secretary.
In 2022, he resigned his position as Chief Whip and left the PDP to join the Labour Party.
